The spectacular South

One of our team will pick you up at the airport, and transfer right away to the hotel. On the way, the guide will tell you the history of the big island and the particularity of the capital, the city of thousands built in 1610 by the king Andrianjaka.

After breakfast, go the east part of the island, between Tana and Andasibe,we will discover an unforgettable private reserve called Peyreras  where we find the famous reptile such as the colorful chameleons, crocodile and different species of frogs like tomato frogs…

Lunch in Moramanga where the revolt against the French colonisator started in 1947. Continue to Andasibe and night in the hotel.

7After breakfast, we go to discover the Analamazaotra National park where we will see 13 spicies of lemurs, one of them is the biggest lemur INDRI INDRI (Babakoto in Malagasy)

After lunch, we will carry on our way to reach the island of lemurs Vakona and we will play with the sociable lemurs that will jump on your shoulders.

After breakfast, we leave Andasibe and take the national road 7 and stop in the capital of cooking pot Ambatolampy famous for its worshops of aluminum pot

Continue the way to Antsirabe and you will notice the succession of sceneries of the highlands, ricefieds , beautiful hills, the family tombs, fruit and vegetable sellers all along the road ,Antsirabe is considered as capital of pousse pousse.

We go to visit the sacred volcanic lake TRITRIVA, some activities can be done like canoes … after go to Andraikiba lake.

Afternoon, go back to do the city tour with rickshaw, and visit of horn craft , embroidery , possible to go the precious stone store

The morning, go with the local guide to explore the national park ,known for its fauna and flora , 13  spiecies of lemurs, 6 spiecies of carnivorans , reptiles… we will discover these different wildlife in their natural habitat.

The afternoon, we can go to visit Tanala tribe’s village to discover their daily life and their architecture, we can not forget the thermal center.

In the morning, we leave the hotel and reach VOHIMASINA, means sacred hill. Visit the teza betsileo ethnic group (wood which has unique sculpture) decorates the tranomena (the royal tomb) ,visit of the palace of the king

In the afternoon, we continue to Sahambavy to visit the famous tea plantation. Guided tour of the factory in order to see the process of how to make green and black tea and end with a tasting.

After breakfast, we join Fianarantsoa (the capital of betsileo tribe) to explore the old city.

Classified in the world heritage of UNESCO. Go south to the small town of Ambalavao, The road offers beautiful views across the landscape. The town is unique for its architectural houses with carved balconie. We will visit the antemoro paper factory, made from the bark of the plant called Avoha. Visit of Anja reserve to observe the ring tailed lemurs (lemur catta), Continue to Andringitra and night in the hotel

The massif of Andringitra is the second highest mountain of Madagascar.

In the morning, go to visit Tsaranoro valley to discover the mountain of chameleon with its different wildlife such as ring tailed lemur… Their behaviour differ from others because they leap from rock to rock with great agility.  Diverse activities can be done and the main attractions are the rock climbing and trekking. The place is recognized for its beautiful landscapes

After lunch, go to Isalo and night in the hotel

After breakfast, leave the hotel and will pass in Ilalaka (capital of gems known for its best quality of sapphire, after an hour of trip, stop in Zombitse national park to observe the famous birds of Madagascar, the sifaka lemur can be seen as well. The colorful Mahafaly tombs are all along the way between Sakaraha and Tulear

Then another visit of arboretum Antsokay, the famous garden of the southern plants before we get to Ifaty
