Arrival in TANA
Tana – Andasibe
After breakfast, we leave the hotel and drive to Andasibe taking around 3: 30 hours drive. We will stop at Mangoro River where we will spot some birds, standing on the bank of the River. The common sandpiper, malachite kingfisher and so many else. When we get in Andasibe, we go to Vakona reserve, the island of lemurs where we can see them ready to entertain the visitors. Night walk is unavoidable to see the nights active birds including the long eared owl, scops owl, colored nightjar and pygmy kingfisher that could be seen sleeping on tree branches. We can see as well the Microcebus the smallest lemur and other reptiles

MANTADIA ( Andasibe)
Early in the morning, we drive to Mantadia national park and takes around one hour. The park of Mantadia provides life for many animals. Around 11O species of birds are known in the park such as Madagascar Nightjar, White-throated Oxylabes, velvety asity, yellow bellied asity, spectacular Red Fody, Pitta like ground roller, scaly ground roller, broad billed roller, cuckoo roller, red capped coua, Madagascar serpent eagle, Madagascar Ibis, Madagascar starling . 13 spieces of lemurs are also presents there apart from the reptiles.

ANALAMAZOATRA NATIONAL PARK
Andasibe is known for its Indri indri , the largest lemur of Madagascar. The reserve has many species of birds such as the Blue Coua, white throated rail, Madagascar fluff tail, wood rail, short legged ground roller, nuthatch vanga, blue vanga, red tailed vanga, nelicourvi weaver, Madagascar cuckoo shrike, Madagascar buzzard, Madagascar harrier hawk, frances sparrow hawk and so on….

ANDASIBE – ANTSIRABE
Early in the morning, we will explore more the other birds that have not been found. Then drive to Antsirabe, Few stops would be necessary at certain spots where some birds could be seen lke the night heron, green backed heron, squacco heron, black egret, and little egret, hammer kop and so forth.

Full day visit in Vohiparara with the local guide in search of several species of birds and 115 species of birds including thirty of them are strictly forest species, The Pitta like ground roller and other endemic birds like the brown mesite, velvet asity, stripe throated jerry, common newtonia, dark newtonia, green jerry, long billed Tretraka, Madagascar paradise flycatcher, Malagasy kingfisher, red capped coua, forest rock thrush nest in this park. Besides and so on…

RANOMAFANA – ISALO
After breakfast, we leave the hotel and we head to Fianarantsoa, the capital of the Betsileo ethnic group. A little stop for the visit of the old city Then, we continue to Ambalavao where we visit various places including the paper factory. We stop in Anja Reserve, managed by local villagers. The reserve is the kindom of the ring-tailed lemurs, ground chameleons and many unique species of animals. After the visit, we continue our trip untill we reach Ranohira Isalo.

The day is dedicated for the visit of the park through the canyons and oasis of Isalo. During the hike, we will go to different places to see a panoramic view. Isalo is the home of the endemic bird called Benson’s Rock thrush, littoral rock thrush, Madagascar kestrel, common pied crow, yellow billed kite, and also there 14 species of nocturnal lemurs, 98 species of amphibians and reptiles. We will finish our day by admiring the sunset through the window of Isalo.

ISALO – ZOMBITSE – TULEAR – IFATY
After breakfast, we drive to Toliara, the capital of the Vezo tribe. On our way, we will pass by Ilalaka , the capital of sapphire, Besides, the famous Mahafaly tombs are on the both sides of the way. This morning, we have a visit at Zombitse National park, home of the appert’sTretraka , cuckoo roller, madagascacr hoopoe, giant coua, white browed owl, and so forth. After the visit, we continue to drive until we get to the Arboretum for a short visit at this famous ‘garden of the southern plants’ theen take lunch in Tuléar and continue driving to Ifaty.

We go out early in the morning in search of various species of birds such as the green capped coua, the long tailed ground roller, the local endemic sub-desert mesite, chabert’s vanga, red tailed vanga; sickle billed vanga, Madagascar harrier hawk, and so on…

IFATY – TULEAR – ANAKAO – TSIMANAMPETSOTSE
Early in the morning, we leave Ifaty driving back to Tuléar and take a speedboat going to Anakao; then continue with a 4WD to reach the lake of Tsimanampesotse, a large shallow lake. The main attractions for many species of birds, ring tails, sifakas.

TSIMANAMPETSOTSE – ANAKAO – NOSY VE
Early in the morning, immediate boarding going to Nosy Ve Island where we will look for the red billed tropic birds, black egret, great egret and other animals. Extra activities can be done like snorkeling would be great to explore the underwater wildlife.

Breakfast in the hotel and departure to Ankarafantsika (around 7 hours drive ).Ankarafantsika is in the northwest of the Madagascar. Ankarafantsika is home of 129 species of birds 75 of them are endemic.
